此次通過驗收，標志著市委市政府下達的將翡翠島廣場改造成可容納2500人集中居住的應急任務，鹽田港集團再次展現(xiàn)了勇于擔當、團結協(xié)作、敢打硬仗的精神
自6月6日接受任務后，集團高度重視，成立了以孫波同志為組長的應急工程專班，由建設管理中心具體實施，各職能部門全力配合；9日，翡翠島廣場改造方案通過相關政府部門審查；10日，承包商進場施工；16日，完成一、二層標準廂房共187間；22日，完成三、四層標準廂房共188間及配套衛(wèi)浴廂房80間

施工過程中，集團領導多次到現(xiàn)場督辦，安委辦、審計部等職能部門深入現(xiàn)場指導；建管中心集合全部工程管理人員，統(tǒng)籌中建科工集團、東鵬監(jiān)理等相關單位，日夜趕工24小時作業(yè)，三方管理人員24小時輪班值守，在確保防疫安全、施工安全的前提下，抓落實、推進度、保質量；鹽田區(qū)住建局及工程質量安全監(jiān)督中心每天現(xiàn)場檢查監(jiān)督，鹽田區(qū)衛(wèi)健局每兩天組織現(xiàn)場核算檢測，鹽田國際、特區(qū)建發(fā)集團等單位給予了很大支持
翡翠島廣場防疫應急改造工程及時交付使用，對鹽田港區(qū)全面恢復正常生產，解決船舶滯港和通航安全問題起到積極作用
